I am an American, born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I moved to sunny Florida eight years ago when I accepted a position with Tformation in Tallahassee. I like to spend a lot of my free time at the beach. Living in Tallahassee allows me to head out most week ends to swim, fish, go scalloping or just relax. St. George Island is my favorite beach. I've done a number of paintings depicting the natural beauty of north Florida. The southern climate has also given me more opportunity to ride my motorcycle. Florida is also the home of Gator Nationals Drag Racing which is where you will find me every second weekend in March.

My career began directly out of college in the printing industry. An apprenticeship as a color artist in lithography is where I acquired my in depth understanding of four color process. Wanting to branch out, I began moving toward more creative work as a freelance illustrator. One of my clients was a large textile screen printer. More often then not I was disappointed and confused as to why the art I had created for them never printed as expected. Being a journeyman color artist, I thought I had all the answers. Boy was I wrong! Thus began my quest to understand textile screen printing. I have been doing art and seps for screen printers for over 15 years. I have separated full color art for some of the toughest clients on the planet and I thrive on the challenges, making it my business to know all the reasons why art does not always look as it should or print as good as it could.
